Cindy-I have been following the story of the adptive mother with some
interest, and hope you will keep us posted as to the outcome.
I have a large Medela rental depot and have been informed by the company
that their pumps should not leave the country. You may want to check on this
yourself.
Re: peppermint tea: Some infants react to strongly flavored breastmilk
by cutting down significantly on nursing or going on a nursing strike. I
would be very cautious with something as strongly flavored as peppermint tea.
Re: soybean oil. Jan, you may (or may not) want to check out
something like Smucker's Natural peanut better. The only ingredients are
peanuts and salt. Of course, if the baby is reactive to peanuts, too, that's
not going to help the mom.
Thanks, all, for the great reading-from Ellen in CT where we saw the sun
today for the first time all week and it blinded me-also, the last day of
school
