Some good books on preparing for birth are:

"A Good Birth, A Safe Birth" by Diana Korte and Roberta Scaer.
"Natural Childbirth, The Bradley Way" by Susan McCutheon-Rosegg and Peter
Rosegg.
"Mothering the Mother: How a Doula Can Help You have a Shorter, Easier, and
Healthier Birth" by Marshall H. Klaus; John H. Kennell; and Phyllis H. Klaus.

These are just a few of the books available. They are easily obtained through
LLL and many other places.

"Silent Knife" and "Open Season" are helpful in sorting out and validating
negative feelings after trumatic births - not just C-sections. I am looking
forward to reading Nancy Cohen's new book.
