I think the bottom line is that because we have open archives, even if the
post doesn't get forwarded, it can be found. I remember well our admonishments
here to be careful what you write--think front page New York Times. Even
while you think you are sharing with a like minded person, you never know who they
know, etc.

Considering the current climate surrounding the ad campaign, the last thing
we need to do is make enemies among ourselves.

Lactnet is truly my sanity in lactation land chaos. Sometimes, I am working
with a difficult case only to see the very same situation being discussed on
Lactnet and a new option is mentioned. (I am still wondering how that
'coincidence' seems to be such a constant.) I cannot even imagine there not being a
Lactnet.

Perhaps we can make Lactnet more like the TLC Listserve for LLL Leaders. If
you are not a subscriber, no archive access. And I am sure there are ways to
be sure a subscriber is not looking to join to 'spy' on lactation
professionals for use against breatsfeeding.

I am so sad just thinking that someone is on this list to hurt breastfeeding.
To hurt babies and mothers and interfere with goals for successful
breasteeding outcomes.

Is there a way to track who did it? I guess since they knew what they were
doing, a reprimand and unsubscription wouldn't phase them, but would be
deserved.

Listmothers, thank you. Thank you for the possibility of Lactnet. Thank you
to every subscriber of Lactnet who is here to learn, to teach, to make a
difference. I cannot imagine my practice without Lactnet as part of my resources.

Best,
Pam MazzellaDiBosco, IBCLC
