Hello Delores,

The state of Texas has a website: www.txhealthsteps.com which lists many online courses including one on Breastfeeding. There is no charge for the courses. You just need to go on there and sign up. I took the Breastfeeding course myself last year as part of my CNE hours for my RN license renewal. The Breastfeeding course is good for 1.5 hours for CME, CNE, SW or health worker continuing education. The course was not developed by a formula company and as far as I can recall seemed to be a good basic class overall. (I no longer hold active IBCLC certification.)

Sincerely,
Linda Madsen, RN
Wylie, Tx

Sent from Yahoo Mail for iPad
