I know youall in the usa need the chart in pounds and ounces. However, we
are at the next stage -- on the UK-WHO chart we made a strong recommendation
for treating 10% weight loss as a real trigger to action. I have seen
people who are resonsible for routine weight monitoring struggle with
calculating 10% in the first two weeks (recall, we have no centiles on our
chart in the first fortnight) -- in kg and g -- I do not know how people
would cope with the arithmetic involved in this calculation in imperial
measures!!! (Sorry, the British refer to pounds and ounces as imperial
measures -- seems like the usa forgot about 1776 and all that when they
decided to remain wedded to these measurements).

Parents is easy -- put a conversion chart in their record.
