I am in need of some recommendations for a mother whose infant will have a Downs syndrome infant. This is her first pregnancy. I have given her info from Kellymom and LLL. I have recommended she look into Facebook groups. I have worked with only a handful of these infants in my career. We have discussed generalities and I shared with her that we will have to see what this little one can do. She will be delivering within the next several weeks. She is only now reaching out as it has taken her this long to come to terms with it. She herself is a speech therapist  but she works with kids on the Autism spectrum. She has reached out to her peers. TIA.
