I see it as well! Particularly with a Spanish speaking person that I
know. A adult that would possibly benefit from the surgery. She can be
difficult to understand at times in English and Spanish especially
when she speaks quickly.

I've been frustrated with the local lack of acknowledgement of tongue
tie when it isn't a very obvious one. I am no expert on tongue ties.
If I can look at pictures in "Supporting Sucking Skills" and see a
picture that matches what I'm seeing, how come the experts don't see
it?

Just got an update from a mother, exclusively pumping for 6 weeks and
the ENT says "she's a little tongue tied in the middle but it's fine."
Mom doesn't experience pain w/direct bf but baby always goes right to
sleep. Positioning changes haven't helped.
