I am wondering if anyone else has been at a presentation by pump company
about their latest pump research with mothers of preterm babies which is
followed by a videotape of moms raving about how much they like that
particular pump (the color was beautiful, it was lightweight, it felt
natural, they were so happy with it)?

This is the second time I have attended something supposedly on research but
was really a "love fest" on the company's product(s). What are the ethics of
presenting research yet following it up with heavy advertising of the
product that was researched?

I appreciate other people's opinions of how this type of thing fits into our
code of ethics from IBLCE.

I am not bashing any pump product. Nor promoting any product.
