aspect of her health. <<
Is this for real or perhaps an April Fools joke?!
I have never heard of such a thing?!
This insurance company needs some accurate info. fast! Perhaps some of our
MDs could write to them detailing the benefits of breastfeeding. I would also
inundate them with published articles on the healthcare costs of not
breastfeeding. Barbara Heiser wrote a nice, brief one entitled "Affordable
Health Care Begins with Breastfeeding". Would also include the AAP policy
statement.
I might also ask them if they increase the premiums of babes not breastfed
who develop ear infections, meningitis, GI viruses etc. as they are at
greater risk too!
