As someone who has never heard either (or identified them as such) I wonder
if the clicking sounds the same in each case?  I assume it's more of a
diagnostic tool than a worry, unlike the sound of a baby losing attachment.
I remember years ago being concerned about a mother I met socially whose
baby clicked alarmingly - but since he was growing well and was near
toddlerhood, I put it down to a rare idiosyncracy.
