What a beautiful post Pam wrote!
I hope that I can meet Pam d.M.B. some day...
Yes, it is our responsibility to meet mothers where they are... and
their right to be there, wherever it is, and even if we would never go
there ourselves.
It is also their right not to advocate for change in society, not to
argue a point or feel they have to defend themselves, and to have bad
days. I have had wonderful conversations with mothers who returned to
work early, who don't breastfeed in public etc. They have a lot to teach
me.
To link this to Kathy B.'s post -- yes, it would be a dull world if we
were all alike.
