I was wondering why the American Dietetic Assoc., or others respected in the medical
field, don't certify a lactation professional? Are there other nursing or dietetic or medical
certifying bodies that could do that and make a U.S. credential? I guess this is such a new
field and it is complex-but I wonder if there is a demand for it now? If there are so many
issues with an international certifying body, I wonder if one for the U.S. alone would be
beneficial?

Imagine USBCLC...try saying that 3 times real fast :)

Just curious, as I am a newbie in this field!
