Because the US govt requires it to protect the children. The clothing will
burn slower than it would without the chemicals.
Govt regs also require pajamas to be snug fitting. No more loose &
comfortable pajamas - they're dangerous - might catch on something.
Maybe if baby was nursing in mom's bed, both issues would be moot points.
