Mary Kay, have you checked the baby's gum line? I had a "clicker" who had an
undeveloped muscle/tissue in the gum line, it looked like a tooth had been
pulled. She stopped clicking when pressure was put over the gum. (pushed my
finger on her cheek to cover the "hole".) Once she got a little bigger, her
tongue grew enough to cover the hole, maybe? But she quit clicking after a
few months. She did better nursing on one side than the other, I'm guessing
that was because her cheek would put pressure on the hole.

Just a thought.
