This sounds like the case against McDonalds when the old lady was scalded
with hot coffee. If this mom was breastfeeding, this wouldn't have
happened. I hope this case gets a lot of publicity and the parents lose. In
reality, the hospital will probably settle out of court and nobody will
ever hear about it. Pity kids don't get to sue their parents for not
providing them with the protection of breastfeeding. It would be nice to
have a warning on each can of formula about the risks of formula rather
than the insipid line of breastfeeding being best. I wonder if we will ever
see the day when that happens.
