I just heard that kids tend to have their biggest
growth spurts in August. This was in reference to
my 16 year old, but I imagine it applies to kids of
all ages. I don't know about August in particular, but
it is certainly my experience that kids grow more in
the summer (sunshine, more relaxed schedule, lots
of time outdoors, who knows?)
Here are my questions:

Is this true for babies, young kids as well? What about
milk supply in the summer, or affected by sunshine, time
outdoors etc.?

Do growth spurts come in Feb/March south of the equator?
Do any of our Aussies have experience, knowledge of this?

Thanks,
  Naomi Bar-Yam
