I also have a question about scales.  I was looking at the Tanita  815 U or the Medela Baby Weigh ( which is made by Tanita) for home visits.  The manual for the Tanita 815U recommends that the scales be kept temp (within 20 degrees) or it needs to stablize for 2 hours at the new temp.

 
I live in Minnesota which is well known for for widely varing temps.  Has anyone had problems with the temperature affecting either of these scales?  Thanks, in advance.  Sincerely, Rachel Wahl RN IBCLC
