Hi Martha,

With my third baby, I experienced hot flashes and some sweating when I would
nurse.   This went on for just a few weeks.   I just assumed it was due to the
low estrogen levels while breastfeeding, which also occurs with menopause.
If this was the case with this mom, I would assume things would settle once
her cycle returned and estrogen was up again or upon weaning at the latest.
