"She called her Ped to tell him she was switching to ABM.  He called in a
prescription for a diuretic to dry up her milk."

This was relatively common in the UK some while ago (last mum to tell me she was
prescribed Lasix was a few years ago).  In UK the GP would prescribe.  This
replaced the use of bromocryptine, which was used until (help me out, here) the
'70's or early '80's.
