Hi Fellow Lactnetters,

One of our performance improvement projects for maternity in the upcoming
year, involves assessing the quality of our hospital based LC program and
followup program. Any one care to share how this might best be done? We are
considering either a phone or mail survey. It has been awhile since we've
done this, and I have always struggled with asking everyone who has been
"counseled" by us in the hospital versus those who utilize our services once
they leave. Mainly because those who seek us out once discharged, are
generally more vested in breastfeeding sucessfully and therefore appreciate
the program more.

If any one has ideas to share, rather than reinvent the wheel, I thank you
in advance. You may certainly e-mail me privately or just reply to the
group.
