I should explain my logic a bit more....I think it could be
impossible for manufacturers of formula to argue that babies should
stay on formula alone for six months;  most formula fed babies could
not 'last' that long, as we see from observation and also surveys
which show babies on formula tend to start solids quite a bit  sooner
than excl. bf babies.  The status quo prob. suits them just fine.
Tell all mothers to sart solids at 4 months....
