Laura Hart writes"Why do I stay there?" I can't tell you how many times I
have felt burned out from spreading myself sooo thin , not taking lunch so as
to fit in one more patient or to answer all the calls that are beeping on my
voice mail, neglecting to go to the bathroom, going into NICU one more time to
help one more mom with BASIC LATCHING that the Nurses could have done. By
Friday I am spent. This is a love hate relationship. What keeps me there? I
love making a difference with the moms and babies. I know I provide a valuable
service and I educate and take the time to make a difference. THAT IS SUCH A
WONDERFUL REWARD to see the mothers have a successful breastfeeding
experience. There is such a feeling of responsibility.

Laura I can only know too well of what you stated. I do love the work I do ,
but it does come with a price tag at times.
