Some of us may have already stumbled upon a link between cannabis
and
hunger. Biologists are also aware that cannabis-like compounds
occur
naturally in breast milk, and that levels of these are at their
highest the
day after giving birth. Now, however, in an experiment with
newborn mice,
Ester Fride has the first evidence that these cannabinoids may
trigger
feeding and could be vital for our survival.
