In reply to the thread of comments on milk storage containers, the Ross
Rep for our hospital provides milk storage containers for us in cartons.
They are made of polypropelene, a kind of plastic that the IGa in breast
milk will not adhere to. Three of these bottles are in the
"breastfeeding friendly" "gift pack", and the rep agreed to supply us
with extras in cartons. I personally have many mixed feelings about
accepting these, but I work with a team of 3 other LCs and they liked the
idea that as long as the formula company was doing business in our
hospital we could get them to help the breastfeeding families, also our
nurse manager really likes Ross.
