In a recent online bf group discussion, some say that mothers shouldn't
nurse if they drink yerba maté or green tea. Not sure the specifics of why
no maté but green tea was supposed to be too powerful of a detoxifier or to
deplete the mother's vitamins/minerals.

Any thoughts? Or specific evidence?
Any LC in South America or Japan with practices in the countries where these
beverages have been around a long time to say what the practice is?
Thanks,
Susan
