Hi everyone, there is a very nice research paper done in Clinical
Pediatrics Dec 1995 p. 642 on women who breastfeed longer than 6 months,
along with a very encouraging editorial on 'extended' breastfeeding by Dr.
Goldfarb on p. 648 same issue. He  explains the importance of extended
breastfeeding in our culture!-Anne Eglash MD
