A mother of a 32week premie is having small amounts of bleeding from her
pores at the base of her nipple with pumping.  She is currentlly 4 days
postpartum.  She is using a hospital grade pump at the lowest setting .  She
is feeling very bruised.  She says there is no rubbing occuring from the
flange againest her skin.  She has tried with and without inserts.  This is
her 2nd breastfed baby.
My only thought is that the suction is too strong.  I 'm considering
recommending a rental pump instead as there is less suction.
I am open for suggestion quickly  as I will be seeing her first thing
tomorrow morning or tonight if necessary.
