On a Facebook forum a mother is asking if her potassium levels are seriously
low due to her Crohns disease, will her milk levels of potassium be low?
She was on her way to the hospital to be treated when she wrote the post. I
have her permission to ask here. I know that the kidney only passively
transports potassium so some is lost everyday to the urine. Wondering if the
breast actively transports potassium into the milk, to protect the milk
levels from being low. Smart scientific people. help please!
