I sure would want to do a serious digital suck assessment here. Yes, I
do teach parents to suck train their babies...usually by fingerfeeding
them I don't think I would assume the pain is yeast related because mom
is clearly stating that there are suck abnormalities...and she is
experienced enough to recognize this.

If digital suck assessment bears this out...I would have her do some
pumping to give her nipples a break and teach her to finger feed...with
her finger to the S-spot and gentle pressure on the tongue.
