As far as the argument that they joined the Airforce knowing of

The sad thing is that a woman doesn't truly know what being a mom means
until she really is one, and in the case of military moms, it happens after
she has signed a contract.  I would like to see a more liberal policy - a
compassionate release from military service, without penalty or disgrace, if
the military person becomes a parent and needs to be released.

I agree with Marsha, I saw those stories on the parents she mentioned.  Made
my heart bleed.  How can these parents possibly be good soldiers with part
of them distracted by what is happening at home?
