I need every one's help, I work in a hospital on the Texas/ Mexico border, we are looking into getting Baby Friendly Designation.
I am looking into getting our Nursing Assistants the 15 hours of Breastfeeding Education as required by BFUSA, but we are really tight on money, the nursing assistants do not have an educational bank like the Nurses. I was looking at WellStart, it is free, but I do not know how many hours this module will count? Does any one know? Has any used this for their designation and if yes how many hours?????
Please help me or advise me where I can go? I also have used BreastfeedingBasics.org and that gave us 3 hours, so in reality I need 12 hours of free breastfeeding education/modules. Your thoughts?
