You're right Jeanette! When I am giving my general relactation talk to
prospective IBCLE sitters I always include a photo of my friend Kerrie who's
on Lactnet! and who has PCOS AND is an adoptive mum AND was able to fully
(by the strictest definition) breastfeeding her second child! It's not to
say that everyone can do this but to say tat while some things might be a
risk factor for low milk supply that does not mean that an individual mother
will have a low milk supply just because she has PCOS or is BFAR or is an
adoptive mum etc.
