After re-lurking for a week, I can't help but get on and run with all you
wolves! I first came to Lactnet when it had 8(!) subscribers, while I was
in nursing school.
Now I'm an RN (and IBCLC and FACCE) working as a staff nurse in a small
community hospital in southern Vermont, soon to be starting our LC clinic
and doing a postpartum group -- right up my alley, as I'm a descendant of
the "founding mothers" (don't you love it--), LLLL for almost 15 years.
Boy did mothering change my life!
Of course LLL Leaders sometimes grow up to be Girl Scout Leaders and I
just had to share my favorite line from a GS song:
"I'm just one girl in this great wide world,
I can't go on every quest....
But I will do what I can do,
And I will do my best."
Thanks, guys! I'm already sharing the info I'm getting. And Maryann
Wiese, I see you on PNATALARN! You wolf, you!!
