A few months ago, I heard Dr. Raylene Phillips from Loma Linda hospital in California speak about skin to skin.  She said that when LLH started STS, their formula supplementation rate went from about 70% to about 10%.  Here's the website of the hospital:  http://lomalindahealth.org/childrens-hospital/our-services/total-care-birth-center/sacred-hour.page
