Has anyone heard of the Enfamil-created Expecta Lipil supplements? One of my
clients said her doctor gave them to her in pregnancy and she took them,
continues to take them while nursing. The packaging says: DHA Supplement
for Pregnant and Nursing Mothers. Support your baby's brain and eye
development during pregnancy and while breastfeeding. A non-fish source of
DHA. (It's actually derived from Crypthecodinium cohnil oil--whatever that
is).

I wonder about this, particularly because this baby is not acting right.
Seven weeks old and never has a quiet alert state. Either eating, sleeping,
or screaming, no happy time, no communication. I have stressed my concerns
to the mother a few times without trying to panic her, keep telling her to
have the baby checked out thoroughly by the pediatrician, but now I'm
wondering about this supplement . . .
