Hi All,

I need your wisdom and input here, where would you start and what would you
do in this case?

Woman with a five month old, breastfeeding.
Just after he was born he was diagnosed with trush. Baby got nystatin labaz.
After three courses (don't know how long) they thought it was under control.
Feedings became more pleasant. Unfortunatly the trush came back with mom
(or never left). After the whole show of nystatin and daktarin (which made
her nipples crack), she still thinks it isn't gone. She even thinks it's
worse....... She would throw in the towel, if it wasn't for the fact that
everything else is going so wonderful and she loves breastfeeding so much !
(What a wonderful woman!!).
She says that her child is nursing beautifully from the start, although she
suspects him to be 'allergic' (has rashes every once in a while; don't know
where).
Her original question was if thrush could be harmful for the child (except
for getting contaminated) -not to my knowledge-and if there is a chance to
get rid of this thrush without quitting breastfeeding- yes- . She pumps and
freezes breastmilk for she works three days a week and also asks if the
frozen milk can be contaminated - absolutely-.

Up until now no answers (GP, LLL, and others) helped her .
What would you do and where would you start?
Any help is much appreciated and thanks in advance,
