Me, I'm checking!
Yes, the instinctive need and ability to breastfeed is seen in children
adopted after abuse/neglect and we're not talking about babies. These are
often kids who have been institutionalised since birth, have never really
left the room that they have been living in and who have probably never seen
breastfeeding. How do they know that they should breastfeed??? How do they
know how to do it and why do they want to?? I think that it is to do with
those instinctual desires and abilities. I have published in this area.
