Anne - if these twins want to nurse every 90 minutes that could well be
considered quite normal.  As a mother of once-breastfed twins myself I'd say
she gets off lightly if they only want to feed this often, actually!   I'm
interested in how the babies being "gassy" is defined though because I get
told this by so many of my clients (with single babies of course).  So often
it turns out that the baby is actually hungry, or would like to suck for
comfort or entertainment or just because it feels nice!  But the mother
perceives that it must be "wind" or "colic" or something, and that it must
be abnormal.
I'd be interested to hear others' comments about this.
