Dear Folks:
        I like what Ruth Lawrence has said about alcohol and bf: one should neither
prescribe nor proscribe alcohol when bf.
        She also said, at the International Conference in Orlando, that a mother
could take one dose of anything, except radiopharmeceutical drugs, and
continue to bf. So that would give her time to start the medication and look
it up in Hale or call a drug reference hotline. Let's hear it for
