I'm in the process of doing my pediatric board recertification.
I just finished the general knowledge part and there were a handful of
breastfeeding questions. Mostly recognizing normals such as weight loss in
the first week, decreased rate of weight gain in the second half of the
first year and get this, what to do for a first time mom, breatfeeding well,
who keeps calling with breastfeeding questions. Answer was refer to a
breastfeeding support group.
