Good detective work, Elise.  Guess they didn't know who they had on the
premises of the clinic or they would have removed all such incriminating
literature from the shelves.

I agree with your 'translation':
There is a tear-out centerfold questionnaire including the questions "How
often do you discuss infant nutrition/formulas with parents?" and "Do you
expect to make any changes in your clinical practice based on the
information presented in this special publication?"  (Which I read as "how
much of our stuff are you in a
position to sell?" and "have we convinced you to buy/sell more of our
stuff?")

Isn't it funny how 'an algae-derived product' and 'a fungus-derived product'
sound less slimy and repulsive when phrased this way?

I can categorically say that babies here do not get HMF unless they weigh a
lot less than 1500 grams.  I don't know exactly what the guidelines are
because I don't work in our ICU, but I think HMF is the exception, not the
rule.  Our babies do fine on their mothers' milk.
