Just had to tell everyone what a wonderful time I had at the local
Infact conference yesterday in Toronto. And yes, this was part of
why Kathy B was spending time with Jack up here. It was great to
meet some Lactnetters in person.

Kathy Dettwyler's comments are even better when accompanied by her
slides.

Kathy Bruce's presentation on monitoring the WHO via the web was
super. Sorry you had to go slumming through all those formula
sites. We appreciate your efforts. Watching the slides of the web
sites go by I could feel my fingers aching to click on the the
hypertext - sign of computer withdrawal no doubt.

Jack was great as always. Learned a lot from his presentation. And
enjoyed hearing some of the same classic things we have all heard
from him many times about the health professional's undying need to
measure everything. Always a pleasure.

Elizabeth Stirkin from Infact has some excellent things to share
about breaking the WHO code and the Canadian Pediatric Society's new
position paper on infant nutrition. The comparison of this document
to the LLL and AAP positions was startling and made the shortcomings
painfully obvious.

Thank you all for a great day.
