I am an Active Duty Air Force mom working towards my IBCLC, and am
currently tandem-nursing my two daughters (28 months and 13 months). I
assure you that I have have pumped in combat boots 5 days a week for the
past 2 years, and I nurse my daughters first thing upon returning home each
night- still in my boots. To imply that I am "breastmilk feeding" rather
than "breastfeeding" is both inaccurate and hurtful.
