Hello,
I am working with 2 moms who will be adopting and nursing. One is getting a
newborn and has never been pregnant. She just rented a pump and will be at
the birth in about 3 weeks.
The other has a five year old who just stopped nursing last summer. She is 48
years old and is not producing much milk yet (pumping with a M. double pump
4X day for about 2 weeks now). She has started on some homeopathic items that
her doctor reccomended. She is going to Russia to get a 3 month old. Has
anyone working with adoptive mothers who have nursed? Any who did not get a
baby until they were 2-3 months? I think this baby was 2-3 weeks early. Both
have decided to use the SNS and have read the pink Adoptive Nursing book.
