Yes, I am holding my little guy upright... to no avail... ALTHOUGH...
he is beginning to try to take more of the breast now, occasionally.
Especially when I offer in the manner I did pre-op. Positive sign??? -
- I am not a very patient person. This waiting really kills a person.
I've really mourned the past several days of not being able to nurse
and soothe my son. It's provokes such a helpless feeling!!!
Took Gaelin in yesterday to get his stitches out... PS said that
swelling is down 40%, but the inner structures he worked iwth still
need some time and healing.
My worry: By the time Gaelin is ABLE and WILLING, he won't want
to or remember how to nurse anymore. Realistic or not, the fear is
definitely there and alive...
