Hi, Lactnetters
I have been interested in the comments that Reglan does not work to help
control GER. (it certainly isn't a cure). We use it in our NICU, usually
in combination with Tagamet or Prilosec, positioning with the HOB up and
baby on right side for at least 30 min after feedings, keeping the head
higher than the tummy DURING the feed, etc.

We have found that Reglan helps a lot if given BEFORE the feeding is started
and I would like some feedback from the physicians out there. What has been
your experience with Reglan used for GER?

Thanks,
Deanne, R.N. IBCLC
NICU
