Judy,
I use lots of massage techniques in my dealings with babies. Moms find it
very easy to do and seem pleased that someone is as gentle with their babies
as they are. I find it frequently calms a tense, screaming baby as well as
stimulating that really sleepy little one to wake up and eat. And I always
quote to parents the study (now where is that reference??) on nerve
cell/dendrite growth from touching, telling them they'll have happier and
smarter babies by touching them!
