Was wondering if there was a connection between nursing and infant hair loss?
Got a call from a mom of a five month old exclusively breastfed girl with a history of significant hair loss with fairly rapid onset.  Babe sleeps tummy down and hair loss is equal all over head, not patchy.  They saw ped. today who found infant to be thriving and gaining well.  Told mom that the hair loss was from hormones in her milk.  I haven't seen this before, so I thought I would check with you all.
