Greetings:
Just a short note on DeQuervain's tendonitis. I, too, suffered from
DeQuervain's whilst pumping for my first born. I was diagnosed at around 2-3
months post-partum. I was treated aggressively ( I guess) insofar, as I
received a total of 2 cortisone type injections and also wore a specially
molded splint for about 3 weeks. Was told to pump and dump while receiving
the "cortisone shots". Is this really true? Is injectable cortisone is not
compatible with nursing?
Thanks for sharing your input.
