I would think it definitely worthwhile to check thyroid levels in this
case.
As far as aspirin being dangerous, I'm with Jan and her dh. Besides, at
least here in Israel, the amount of aspirin given as anticoagulant therapy
("Cartia") is only 100 mg, and the dosage is one a day. In contrast,
Extra-Strength Excedrin has 250 mg of ASA.
Seems to me that fear of Reyes' syndrome is reaching a bit. My opinion, of
course.
